Why cotton, viscose and silk?
Cotton gives the shirt its body and breathability, viscose adds drape so it falls rather than stands, and the silk brings a soft sheen to the surface. The twill weave shows a fine diagonal up close and reads as a solid at a distance.
What is a spread collar?
A collar whose points sit wider apart than a point collar. It frames an open neck well and sits under a jacket with the points tucked beneath the lapels, which is why it suits a shirt meant to be worn without a tie.
