What does UV50 mean?
The fabric blocks about 98% of the sun's UV rays, the same as an SPF 50 sunscreen, and it does so for the life of the garment rather than for a few hours. It is a property of the knit and the fibre, not a coating, so washing does not remove it.
What is a melange knit?
Two shades of yarn are twisted together before knitting, so the colour is flecked rather than flat. It reads as a heather from a distance, hides creases and marks, and looks softer than a solid.
How does it fit?
Cut straight through the body with a mock neck that stands on its own and room for a polo or tee underneath. Sizes M to XXL.
Care
Machine wash. Easy care: it comes out of the wash needing little or no ironing.
How to wear it
Over a polo or a tee with golf trousers or stone chinos, or on its own with white denim. It packs flat and comes out of the bag unwrinkled.
