Bugatchi S/S Full Button Shirt, Chalk
A short-sleeve knit shirt in 100% cotton with a basketweave texture across the front and plain flat knit on the sleeves and back. It buttons all the way down under a polo collar, so it reads as a shirt but wears as light as a sweater.

What is the knit?
A 100% cotton knit from Turkey with no synthetic in it. It breathes, has natural give, and washes well. Light enough to wear as a shirt rather than a sweater.
What is basketweave?
A knit stitch that alternates small blocks of raised and recessed stitches so the surface looks like woven cane. It is knitted in, not printed, so the texture stays put through washing.
How does it fit?
Cut like a polo rather than a sweater: close but not tight, hem at the hip. Sizes M to XXL.
Care
Machine wash. Easy care: it comes out of the wash needing little or no ironing.
How to wear it
Untucked over white or stone chinos with loafers, or over dark indigo denim. Light enough to take the place of a shirt under a linen blazer.
