How does the reversible work?
Two finished faces sewn into one vest. One side is the smooth Soft Touch knit with zip pockets edged in nylon; turn it inside out and you have a tonal nylon shell with snap pockets. Same stand collar and zip either way, so it is two vests for the weight of one in a carry-on.
What is Soft Touch?
Bugatchi's lightly brushed performance knit. The surface is smooth with a faint peached feel, the weight is low, and the stretch recovers, so the piece keeps its shape through wear and washing. It breathes well and packs flat, which is why it turns up on their travel and golf pieces.
How does it fit?
Sits at the hip with room for a shirt or a fine knit under it. Sizes S to XXL.
Care
Machine wash. Easy care: it comes out of the wash needing little or no ironing.
How to wear it
Shown with the Alberto Pipe Tencel Denim in Indigo. Over a long-sleeve tee or a fine knit with dark indigo denim, or over an open-collar shirt with the Meyer 2500 Bonn trouser in mid grey. Pack it: it is the layer for the plane and the first cool evening.
