What is ladder stitch?
A knit pattern of narrow vertical bands with small open rungs between them, like a row of ladders. The openwork lightens the fabric and gives a plain colour a stripe you see up close and not from across the room.
How does it fit?
Cut like a polo rather than a sweater: close but not tight, hem at the hip. Sizes S to XXL.
Care
Machine wash. Easy care: it comes out of the wash needing little or no ironing.
How to wear it
Untucked over white or stone chinos with loafers, or over dark indigo denim. Light enough to take the place of a shirt under a linen blazer.
