Shade PurpleA full-zip knit vest built for the part of the year when a jacket is too much and a sweater is not enough. St. Croix knits it in the USA from a cotton-rich Milano rib, a dense double-knit that holds its shape, lies flat and does not bag at the pockets. The body is a soft lavender-grey heather, knitted from purple and white yarns so it reads as a muted grey-violet; the collar, zip placket, armholes and pocket welts are in solid navy, and ribbed shoulder inserts give the top of the vest a little extra structure.

What is Milano rib?
A double-knit construction with a smooth face and a firm, almost woven hand. It resists stretching and creasing better than a plain jersey knit, so the vest keeps its line through a day of wear and comes back to shape after washing.
How does it fit?
Classic fit through the chest with a tapered waistband, so it sits close at the hem without pulling. Finishes just below the belt. Sizes S to XXL.
How to wear it
Shown with a white t-shirt, dark indigo denim and dark brown suede loafers. Zip it over a polo for golf or the car, or wear it open over an oxford shirt with chinos. The chest pocket takes a phone or a scorecard.
Care
Machine wash with a mild detergent. Air dry flat or line dry. Store folded in a cool, dry place.
