Vince knits this crew neck in piqué rather than plain jersey, so the surface has a fine, dry honeycomb grain that gives the shirt more body and lets it hang cleanly instead of clinging. The cotton is Peruvian Pima, a long-staple fibre that is soft from the first wear and stays that way through washing. A single dark line of tipping runs around the neckband, the one detail on an otherwise plain shirt. Vince calls the colour Blanco; in the hand it is a warm ivory, a soft off-white rather than a bright optic white.

What is Pima cotton piqué?
Pima is an extra-long-staple cotton. The longer fibres spin into a smoother, stronger yarn, which is why it feels softer and pills less than ordinary cotton. Piqué is the knit: a raised, textured weave best known from polo shirts. It is a little heavier and more breathable than T-shirt jersey and holds its shape through the day.
How does it fit?
An easy, straight cut that sits on the shoulder and skims the body, finishing at the hip. Sizes S to XXL. Vince's model is 6'1" with a 38" chest and wears a Medium.
How to wear it
Shown with dark indigo denim and dark brown suede loafers, and with navy chinos. It is smart enough to wear under an unstructured sport coat or an overshirt, and it works with shorts on a warm day.
Care
Machine wash cold with like colours using a mild detergent; non-chlorine bleach only when needed. Tumble dry low and remove promptly. Cool iron if needed, or dry clean.
